FILE SETUP AND COLOUR
We us a PDF only prepress workflow and therfor can only accept and process Print Ready PDF files. Information on how to create your PDF file can be found in our artwork guidelines.
You should always start and finish your designs for offset printing in CMYK mode not RGB.
The Preflight component of our prepress workflow will convert all RGB images to CMYK using the industry standard ‘CoatedFOGRA39’ profile but the colour may change slightly to what you are expecting.
No, we are specifically set up to process one side at a time, this requires that each side of a job must be on a separate page in the one PDF.
Images must have a resolution of at least 300dpi, low resolution images will print pixelated and this may result in a printed product that you may not be satisfied with.
The outside front cover is ‘Page 1’, the inside front cover is ‘Page 2’ and so on.
When using a blue in your design, always make sure to leave at least a 30% difference in your cyan and magenta values. For example: C-100, M-70, Y-0, K-0.
Rich black is an ink mixture of solid black (100% K) with additional CMY ink values. This results in a darker tone than black ink alone. If you print black alone (100% K) the resulting black may not be as dark as you might like.
We recommend using C-60, M-40, Y-40, K-100, this will give you a deep, dark, rich black.
Yes, because of variations such as climate, ink, press and stock characteristics the results of four colour process printing will vary from run to run and therefor Bicubic can not colour match to supplied proofs or previously printed items and will not reprint any item due to such variations. However this inherent characteristic of four colour process printing is greatly reduced with Anicolor zoneless inking technology and more repeatable results can be expected.
PLACING AND TRACKING AN ORDER
Yes if you are not already registered as a Bicubic customer you will need to sign up by clicking the 'Register with us' link. Once registered you will gain complete access to our wholesale products and pricing, get real time quotes and upload print ready PDF files and finally secure online payments through Paypal. You can also access past orders for fast and easy reordering and check an order status at anytime.
After logging in you can check on an orders status by clicking on the 'Orders' link in the ‘My Account’ section in the left side menu. The current order status will be displayed within brackets next to the relevant order number. The complete details for each order can also be viewed by clicking the 'View Details' link.
PAYMENT AND DELIVERY
We use PayPal to process our payments, with PayPal you can pay securely and easily using MasterCard, Visa, Maestro or Direct Debit. Further information about PayPal is available here.
No sorry we can only deliver to a street address.
We currently use TNT for interstate satchels and interstate road deliveries and PEP transport for Perth metro.
Orders weighing under 5kg will ship via Air delivery service, whilst goods weighing over 5kg are delivered via road delivery service.
Our standard turnaround time for most products is 5-7 business days plus delivery. Products requiring advanced finishing such as Presentation Folders and NCR Books will take longer. Unforeseen production delays can increase production times.
Yes you may, however our prices are delivery inclusive and at this time. You can organise your own delivery service at your expense but there will be no discounting of the purchase price.
